Dana Freed

Dana received a B.A. from Barnard College in 2003 and an M.A. in Museum Studies from NYU in 2006. In Fall 2006, Dana founded The Well Done Experience in partnership with her mother, Bert Rachel Freed. Together, they share their creative expertise and passion for handcrafts through teaching individual and group lessons to students of all ages and levels. They also offer a range of specialty products and DIY kits.

In 2008, Dana and Bert launched their line of one-of-a-kind couture beadwork, Chicken and the Egg Designs, which is sold internationally in boutiques, galleries, and museums, such as The Shop at The Museum of Arts and Design.

Dana spends her summers as the Junior Program Coordinator at Creative Arts and Athletics Day Camp, where she also loves teaching art to her 6 and 7 year old campers.
